I started making bags in the fall of 2010 as a way to balance my life. My day job is as a registered nurse and while I love nursing, the creative process of working with these bags and other art balances the work of nursing. I use 100% wool, and silk as well as what I like to call "funny fibers" like polyester and nylon, which create interesting textures. Most of my bags are lined with silk or polyester to create a great finish and allow for pockets.

So I am not having a good time with this site. I have the blogger app on my I phone and the pictures from my computer don.t show up so I deleted the crazy letters and guess what the whole post disappeared ot I am going to repost the pictures of the 2 silk bags. Hopefully I wont disppear completely!!!!!!
So this is so cute in blue and turquoise silk fusion, and silk patches some satin stitch adds interestin detail
This orange bag is fun and surprisingly orange goes with many other colors. I llove the mix of pink and orange. Its a great size too.
Both of these bags were shipped to Glitz Gallery in Winnipeg.
This bag is more for winter but it is very unique wool felted with "funky fibers" for great texture.
