I love fiber - from quilting to knitting, felting and silk fusion, fiber is an amazing medium to create with.

I started making bags in the fall of 2010 as a way to balance my life. My day job is as a registered nurse and while I love nursing, the creative process of working with these bags and other art balances the work of nursing.

I use 100% wool, and silk as well as what I like to call "funny fibers" like polyester and nylon, which create interesting textures. Most of my bags are lined with silk or polyester to create a great finish and allow for pockets. You know you can't have a bag without a pocket for your cell phone and keys!!!
